Sometimes, good inspires good

The OSF's 25th anniversary concert at the Maison Symphonique has received media coverage from the Montreal Gazette, in February, and this celebration has lead a great Montrealer, Ms. Anne Pallen, to think about giving to our community. She had in her possession a very nice 3/4 contrabass made by Kay, which used to be played by her late husband. She decided to pass it along and give our students a chance to learn and play this incredible instrument.

With some help from Jules Saint-Michel, luthier, it has been restored to a great shape and will live its second life within the walls of FACE.

The Foundation is very thankful to Ms. Pallen for this donation, and hopes it will inspire all of the FACE community.

After all, good inspires good!
